The price. The Jaybird BlueBuds X retail for $169, but are usually on sale for around $150. After spending some time with them, I think they are worth the asking price, but that isn’t going to be the same for everyone. If you’re like me and find yourself going through a few pairs of earbuds a month because you don’t treat them well, you might want to hold off on considering the BlueBuds. Then again, if you consider them a worthwhile investment (and use the included case), they are definitely a great choice.
The JayBird BlueBuds X Sport are in-ear buds that connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth. They have two comfortable earbuds, an inline set of controls, and an integrated microphone for phone calls.
These micro-sized, premium Bluetooth ear buds were designed with your active lifestyle in mind. The buds are small enough to fit comfortably in your ear, and the X-Fit ™ feature means you can wear the connecting cord over or under your ears – over-the-ears lifts the cord off your neck, so you won't feel tied down while working out.
Long-lasting play time
The BatteryHD™ lets you work out a little longer each day, walk a little further and simply enjoy more of your music than before.
The Shift™ Premium Bluetooth Audio delivers premium sound and warm bass, while the PureSound™ feature reduces in-ear white noise, eliminating listener fatigue.
SignalPlus™ and Jenna™
SignalPlus offers skip-free music outdoors. All you have to do is wear your music device anywhere on your body. With technology named Jenna, the Jaybird also responds to voice prompts.
Sweat it out
Wear the Jaybird BlueBuds X even during your toughest workout. Never fear – they're sweat repellent thanks to the Liquipel™ Nano Technology.
What's in the box
One JayBird BlueBuds X Premium Bluetooth Buds.
What sets the BlueBuds X apart from other wireless headsets are long battery life, good quality audio, and a comfortable fit. The earbuds can be worn under or over the ear for versatility, and even after wearing them for hours they produce no discomfort. I wear them under the ear, with the small wire connecting the earbuds behind the neck.
The audio quality of the JayBird BlueBuds X Sport is quite good. The bass response of such tiny earbuds is amazing, and music sounds nice. Call quality is also good, both playback and voice pickup of the microphone. In addition to regular phone calls, I have used them for numerous conference calls and nobody on the other end of the call has noticed that I'm on a wireless headset.
